Quickstart — connect your wallet, configure strategy, and simulate safely
This quickstart walks through wallet connection, basic configuration, and a safe simulation run.
Connect your wallet
Visit
https://dashboard.octifi.tech/Choose an EVM wallet (e.g., WalletConnect-compatible wallets such as MetaMask)
Confirm the connection request
Configure strategy profile
Select risk tolerance (conservative, balanced, aggressive)
Choose assets of interest and max concurrent positions
Enable dry-run/simulation mode first
Run a simulation
Start a 24h simulation to validate fills, slippage, and PnL dispersion
Inspect trade logs, route decisions, and position sizing
Adjust parameters and re-run until results are aligned with your goals
Go live (optional)
Disable simulation mode when ready
Set daily loss caps, per-trade max slippage, and per-asset exposure limits
Monitor via dashboard and alerts
Best practices
Start with narrow exposure and tight slippage caps

Revisit parameters weekly; markets change and your constraints should too
